Zöldségcentrum Kft, founded by individuals in 2003, has become a dominant market player in the field of vegetable trade. With its reliable and transparent operation, it is a continuous partner of both Hungarian retail chains and small farmers in the area.

The Hungarian producers’ base is made up of almost 300 small farmers in the area, besides our own production on 160 hectares. With many of the small farmers we have been collaborating successfully for more than 10 years. Among the produced and marketed vegetables, the most characteristic breeds in the range are from the Makó region. Due to the continuous supply of goods to supermarkets and customer demands, product types include imported vegetables in periods when delivery cannot be solved with home products. We are continually working on increasing the proportion of Hungarian products, whether they are our from own production or from other local farmers. We respect traditions, but we are constantly innovating to expand the framework of traditional agriculture. One of the examples for the above is the Vegaalga project, supported directly from Brussels by the Horizon 2020 program..

Apart from supermarket audits, product safety and quality requirements are guaranteed by certificates issued by independent evaluators. (GlobalGAP, ISO, IFS)
